He was 69 years old.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Calibri, sans-serif\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Calibri, sans-serif\">Shihan Meerstra joined the IKO Kyokushinkaikan in 1976. For more than 40 years, Shihan Meerstra devoted his life to lead many camps and seminars in the Netherlands and abroad.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Calibri, sans-serif\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Calibri, sans-serif\">Kancho Shokei Matsui and the entire Kyokushinkaikan, send our sincere condolences to Shihan Meerstra&#8217;s family, to his many friends, and his dedicated students. Shihan Meerstra&#8217;s kindness and warmth will be remembered.
