Mitsumine Shrine in Saitama, Japan. Kancho Shokei Matsui, Shihan<br \/>\nYuzo Goda, Japanese team head coach Hitoshi Kiyama, 8 Japanese fighters that<br \/>\nwill fight in April&#8217;s 6th World Weight Category Championships along with 80<br \/>\nmembers Men, Youth, Women and Senior&#8217;s participated.<br \/>\n<br \/>\nThe camp started with all participants paying respect to Sosai&#8217;s<br \/>\nmonument followed by special training conducted by Kancho Matsui and Kancho&#8217;s<br \/>\nlecture at night.<br \/>\n<br \/>\nThe second day started with early morning training and a Shinto<br \/>\nprayer followed by the 22km marathon. A Dan test was held at the same time as<br \/>\nthe marathon and at night there were skits.<br \/>\n<br \/>\nIn the final day, participants trained early morning and a Shinto<br \/>\nprayer then walked down the mountain and did the traditional &#8220;Water Fall&#8221;<br \/>\ntraining to finish the 3 day camp.<br \/>\n<br \/>\nJapanese team fighters trained under the leadership of head coach Hotoshi Kiyama and assistant coaches Kentaro Tanaka and Makoto Akaishi. They trained with other participants at Kancho&#8217;s special training then had a special fighters training mainly focusing on Kumite techniques.
