Question #17   <\/b>Do I still need to send accommodation request even though Honbu will be covering my stay at Olympics center?<\/p>\n

Of course! you still have to send accommodation request thru your BC\/DOP.<\/u> Honbu covers five nights from Nov 2~Nov 6 for all 10th WT competitors & Women’s World competitors. Ask your BC\/DOP for more details.<\/u><\/span><\/p>\n


Question #16  <\/b> Can I at<\/span>tend IKO Officiating Seminar as student audit on Nov 2 ? <\/p>\n

Sorry, please no student audit this time<\/u>.  All prospect judges and referees are mandatory to attend the IKO Offciating Seminar on Nov 2.and must have a photo license ID cards issued by Honbu.<\/u>  More detail schedules will be available later. <\/u><\/p>\n

Question #15<\/b>   I am a 10th World Tournament competitor, at what time on which day should I arrive at Olympics center ?
<\/span><\/p>\n

Weight-in, Rules explanations, Sewing Zekken will start from 15:00PM* in Olympics center on Nov 3  (Thur.)<\/u>   <\/span>However, we advise you to arrive in Tokyo on Nov 2 (Wed) one day before Nov 3.<\/u>  *Time subject to change.<\/u> More detail schedules will be available later. <\/u><\/p>\n

Question #14<\/b>   I am looking for accommodation near Honbu (Ikebukuro) after the tournament. Will Honbu help me to reserve Hotel or other places that are within walking distance from Honbu Dojo ?<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

Honbu can facilitate your accommodation request thru your belonging BC\/DOP at Olympics center and our official Hotels during the tournament period only.  Restrictions apply so please ask your BC\/DOP.

Question #13    <\/b>I am not a member of IKO but am traveling together with my husband who will be competing in Japan. Can I stay in the Olympics center with my husband ?<\/p>\n

Yes, we welcome everyone who support our tournament staying at Olympics center.<\/u>  Please send your request via your BC\/DOP to Honbu.<\/u><\/p>\n

Question #12<\/b>   Can I attend regular training sessions in Honbu after the Tournament?<\/span><\/p>\n

One of either Honbu Dojo in Ikebukuro or Ebisu Dojo in Ichigeki Plaza will be open. NOT both Dojos!!!<\/u>   If you are a participant of the tournament you can attend training sessions free of charge from Nov.7\uff5eNov.14.  For non-participants fee is 1,050JPY\/class.<\/u>  IKO don’t know which Dojo; Honbu or Ebisu will be open.<\/u> T<\/u>raining fee from Nov.15\uff5ewill cost a regular visitors fee <\/u>of 2100 JPY per sessions.<\/p>\n

Question #11   <\/b>How can I register as a second?<\/span><\/p>\n

You will need to come to Olympics center with the fighter and register TOGETHER.
Also you MUST have a valid IKO membership card or Black Belt Card. Maximum ONE coach for international friendship competitor and TWO coaches maximum for the 10th World and Wome’s World competitors.<\/u>  Second pass are non transferable.<\/u>

Question #10   <\/b><\/span>I am a 10th<\/sup><\/span> WT competitor with BC\/DOP recommendation. Will Honbu be covering my airline and accommodation cost ?<\/span><\/p>\n


<\/b>Honbu will not cover  your airline if you are a BC\/DOP recommended fighter. But
\nHonbu will provide <\/u>the <\/span>five<\/u> <\/span>night accommodations including
\nbreakfasts for <\/font><\/u>BC
\nrecommendation competitors participating in the 10WT and Women’s World
\nTournament.<\/u><\/span><\/p>\n


Question #9   <\/b><\/span>Is discount tickets available for IKO members ?
<\/span>
<\/b>Yes, IKO members discount tickets order form is available through your Branch
\nChief (BC) or Licensed Dojo Operators (DOP).<\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

 
<\/span>Question #8    <\/b><\/span>How can I register as a coach to support my fighter
\nfor the 10th<\/sup> World Tournament and Women’s World Tournament?
<\/span>
Up to two coaches\/per fighter can be registered for the 10<\/u>th<\/sup> World
\nTournament and Women’s World Tournament.<\/u>  Coach must come TOGETHER with the fighter to Olympics center on Nov 2 to receive a coach pass. IKO international
\nmembership card or IKO Black Belt card is mandatory to register as a coach.<\/u>  <\/span>If your fighter advanced to the next day you must turn in the old
\npass and get a new pas for the next day event.<\/span> <\/span> <\/span>If your fighter did not advance
\nto the next day, please purchase day ticket to enter the hall.<\/span>  <\/span>To support your
\nfighter(s) from the ring side with yellow strings (up to 10 people), you must
\nhave an arena level ticket or a coach pass. Coach pass is non-transferable.<\/p>\n

Question #7   <\/b><\/span>Can I check in the Olympics center on October 31st<\/sup>
\nand re-check in after attending Mitsumine training camp on 7th<\/sup>~ 8th

\nIkebukuro while my team wants stays at the Olympics center. Is it OK ?

Honbu strongly recommends all BC\/DOP, prospect Judges\/Referees and not
\nto mention all the competitors to stay in Olympics
\ncenter.<\/u>  All events will takes place in Olympics center. Note that transportation from the hotels to the Tokyo Gym and Olympics center
\nwill not be available.<\/u>  <\/span>Please look after your team’s checking-in and making payments to
\nJTB travel agent at the Olympics center if you wish to stay in the Metropolitan
\nHotel or other hotel.<\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

 
<\/span>Question  #5\u3000<\/b>Can <\/span>I register for Mitsumine training camp
\nwith my 5 year old son ?
<\/span><\/p>\n

We welcome all IKO members regardless of his\/her rank to
\nparticipate in Mitsumine camp. Mitsumine and Dan test application form is
\navailable through your BC\/DOP.<\/u>  Chile under 12 must be accompanied by a legal
\nguardian.<\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>No. The ticket is valid only for Nov.4<\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

\nregistered could change by the tournament. Is it possible to change categories

No. Once you register categories it can not be changed.<\/u><\/span><\/p>\n
