Dear IKO Branch Chiefs and Dojo Operators,<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

We’d like to thank you all for your kind donations
\nand messages of condolence and support for those affected by the Earthquake and
\nTsunami here in Japan.
\n Our Branch Chiefs and Members in the
\nworst hit areas of northeastern Japan
\nsent IKO Honbu many letters thanking us all for the outpouring of concern they
\nhave received in the last few days.<\/p>\n

We have contacted the Japanese Government offices
\nto find out what we can bring to assist the people in Iwate and Miyagi Prefectures
\n– the areas that suffered the most severe damage – and they advised us that, to
\navoid confusion, those municipalities currently cannot accept individual
\ndonated goods.  The Government is prioritizing
\nrescue and recovery efforts, and the delivery of gasoline and fuel to the
\naffected areas.<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

Under these circumstances, donations of food and
\nwater will be difficult to deliver and might cause trouble to store and
\npreserve.  In order to make the donation
\nprocess simple, the IKO Kyokushinkaikan has set up the following bank account in
\norder to collect funds to help rebuild our affected IKO Branch schools in those
\nregions in the weeks to come.<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n
