IKO Honbu is proudly presents the 2014 International Karate Friendship
\n(IFT)<\/b> and
IKO’s 50th<\/sup> Anniversary<\/b> in April, 2014. <\/span>IFT will hold the following championships, tournaments and competitions. T<\/span>hese events will be held at Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium on April 19~20.<\/p>\n

*2014 World Youth Elite Karate Championships
<\/span><\/b>*2014 World Women’s Karate Championships
<\/span><\/b>*2013 International Senior Karate Tournament

April 18 (Friday)  <\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

l  <\/span><\/span>IFT Competitors & Second, Prospect Judges\/Referees
\ncheck-in (Team check-in only) from 10:30am~18:00pm at Nippon Seinennkan Hotel
\nin Sendagaya. (BC\/DOP, please refer to the Team Check in schedule for your team
\ncheck in time) <\/span><\/p>\n

l  <\/span><\/span>Dogi, Belt, Official Protective Gears check, BC
\nDiscount Dogi pick up (official gears purchase available at Nippon Seinenkan
\nHotel on April 18 and in the venue on 19~20 April.)<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

l  <\/span><\/span>IKO Officiating Seminar and Examination starts
\nfrom 14:30pm~Tokyo at No1 meeting room in Tokyo Taiikukan in Sendagaya. Prospect
\nJudges\/Referees must apply in advance and attend the course to be in the
\njudging team.<\/span><\/p>\n

April 19 <\/sup>(Saturday)  IFT 2014  Day 1 <\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

\nOpen at Tokyo Taiikukan for everyone (competitors, spectators, seconds, judge
\nteam, BC & DOP)<\/span><\/p>\n

l  <\/span><\/span>9:00  20th<\/sup>
\nAnniversary of Sosai Oyama Memorial (Admissions free for IKO members. IFT
\ncompetitors and seconds will be seated in the 2nd<\/sup> Floor. Branch
\nChiefs and Official Dojo Operators must wear jacket, black tie, white shirts,
\ntrousers and leather shoes to enter the main area.<\/span><\/p>\n

l  <\/span><\/span>10:10  IFT
\ncompetitors pickup souvenirs and official pamphlet at arena.(10 mats)
\n*Late check in for foreign branch competitors possible.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nKata competition start — final results will be announced. Award ceremony in

\nbe ready at Honbu on April 18).<\/span><\/p>\n
