The 2023 International Karate Friendship was held with approximately 1,500 participants in Tokyo, Japan.
Jun.The 2nd All Japan Weight Category Karate Championships, jointly hosted with Shinseikai, was held in conjunction with the 19th All Asia Weight Category Championships and the 38th All Japan Weight Category Championships.
Nov.The 13th World Open Karate Championship (also the 55th All Japan Championship) was held at the Tokyo. The winners were Eremenko Aleksandr and Sato Nanami.
The 13th World Championship was held as a commemorative event for the 100th anniversary of the birth of Sosai Mastatsu Oyama, and demonstrations by branch chiefs from around the world were performed.
In 2019, the 'Sosai Mastatsu Oyama Training Ground Memorial' that collapsed in Kamo River, Kiyosumi, Chiba Prefecture, will be reconstructed and a unveiling ceremony will be held.

Apr.The "Sosai Masutatsu Oyama 30th Memorial Ceremony" and the "60th Anniversary Celebration of the International Karate Oganezation Kyokushin Kaikan" will be held on the anniversary of the Sosai's death, April 26th.
Oct.A party was held to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the appointment of Shokei Matsui as Director of the IKO Kyokushinkaikan.
The guidelines for activities for "Kyokushinkaikan's Year of Meichi" set out by Head Kancho Shokei Matsui in 2011 have been officially re-announced on YouTube.
The IKO World Team Maches were held in Poland. The Japanese team won.

Apr.Held the 7th World Weight Category Karate Championships in Tokyo.
Jul.The Shinseikai Karatedo has become a supporting member of the IKO. It was announced that the All Japan Weight Category Championships in August will be jointly hosted by the Kyokushinkaikan and the Shinsseikai.
