Overview
The International Karate Organization (IKO) and Kyokushin Kaikan are founded on the principles advocated by its founder, Masutatsu Oyama:
“Head low, eyes high,
Closed lips, open heart,
Family above all, benefit others.”
Kyokushin Karate aims to cultivate character, strengthen body and mind, and form individuals who will contribute to society. Kyokushin Karate is free from bias or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, nationality, politics, ideology, religion, gender, or age. It upholds equal rights for all individuals and promotes international exchange to foster global peace and friendship.
Organization Regulations
Name
The official name of the organization is International Karate Organization (IKO).
The IKO and Kyokushin Kaikan are two sides of the same coin. They are united in their mission to promote and spread Kyokushin Karate.
Founder and Representative
1.Founder: Masutatsu Oyama (1923–1994) developed Kyokushin Karate and founded the International Karate Organization Kyokushin Kaikan.
2.Representative: The representative of the IKO also serves as the director of Kyokushin Kaikan.
3.Current Representative: Shokei Matsui.
Mission
Contribute to society through the teachings of Kyokushin Karate.
Promote global peace and friendship through international exchange.

Policy on Anti-Social Influences
The International Karate Organization Kyokushin Kaikan is committed to fulfilling its social responsibility as a martial arts education organization and ensuring the safety and well-being of its members. To that end, the following policies are in place to eliminate any relationships with organized crime or other anti-social forces:
1.Zero Tolerance:
All IKO executives, branch chiefs, instructors, and members must take a firm stance against anti-social forces that threaten the order and safety of civil society and completely sever all ties with them.
2.Denial of Entry:
Any individuals affiliated with anti-social forces are strictly prohibited from entering training halls, competition venues, support groups, and celebration events. Any form of socializing, including dining or playing golf with such individuals, is also prohibited.
3.Legal Action:
If faced with unjust demands from any anti-social force, IKO will respond decisively through legal means and ensure the safety of all involved officials, branch chiefs, instructors, and members.
4.Cooperation with Authorities:
The IKO maintains close ties with law enforcement agencies, anti-crime organizations, lawyers, and other experts to prevent damages caused by anti-social forces.
5.Financial and Data Protection:
No financial transactions, loans, provision of personal data, or financial support to anti-social forces will be permitted under any circumstances.
6.Strict Enforcement:
Any individuals within the IKO found violating these policies will be subject to a thorough investigation. If found guilty the individuals will face disciplinary measures, including dismissal or expulsion.
Regarding Cryptocurrency
The cryptocurrency “MAS OYAMA COIN (Mas Coin)” has no affiliation whatsoever with the IKO or Kyokushin Kaikan.
