Scandinavian Winter Camp

The 2nd Scandinavian Winter Camp was organized jointly by Norway Branch Chief Sensei Marius Ommedal and Sweden Branch Chief Sensei Andrew Ho from January 31st to February 2 in Uppsala, Sweden. Shihan Shin Ito led the camp with focus on Kihon, Kata, Bunkai application, and Kumite combinations. 50 participants from 9 countries including England, Finland, France, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Tunisia, Norway and Sweden, enjoyed the 3-day training. After a sayonara dinner, many participants were treated to a rare celestial event in the clear skies of Uppsala – Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights) celebrating a spectacular completionto the Scandinavian Winter Camp.
